Uddhav was accompanied by wife Rashmi and son Aditya. Talking to mediapersons, Uddhav said that he is sure the turnout will increase and people of Maharashtra will vote for the leaders they trust. MNS president Raj Thackeray also cast his vote at Shivaji Park which falls in the Mumbai South Central seat where his party's Aditya Shirodkar is pitted against Shiv Sena's Rahul Shewale and Congress's Eknath Gaikwad, seeking a third term. He further added the decision has been taken in the wake of social evils prevailing in the society. Madarsa Azizia is run by Soghra Wakf Estate Committee.
