Bangalore Rape Case: Principal, Director of school arrested

Bangalore, Nov 02 (ANI): Police arrested the principal and one of the directors of school in Bangalore, over alleged rape of a six-year-old child. A case of negligence was also filed against the institution for not following the guidelines issued for children safety. The child was allegedly raped twice by a school teacher on October 28 and October 29 at the private school in the city. Additional Commissioner of Police for law and order, Alok Kumar said the principal Vaijayanthi and director Pramod Arya were arrested under two sections of the Indian Penal Code and one section under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). He added that both the accused have been booked under Section 21 of the POCSO Act for not informing the police after learning about the incident. Patna, Nov 02 (ANI): Speaker of Bihar assembly, Uday Narayan Choudhary, dismissed four legislators of ruling Janata Dal United (JD-U) for cross voting during parliament’s upper house by-polls. Calling the decision arbitrary, the legislators said they would move the High Court against it. Leader of Opposition in Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi, said the decision was dictatorial and it was done at the behest of Nitish Kumar, former chief minister of Bihar and JD-U leader. New Delhi, Nov 02 (ANI): The Royal Air Force Band of England and Indian Air Force jointly performed Air Warrior Orchestra Symphony (AWSO), organized at the war memorial India Gate in New Delhi, to commemorate Indian soldiers who fought World War-I . The joint musical concert started with sun set in the evening till the India Gate was all lit up with a soulful rendition of final pieces of music put together by the two bands. Air Marshal HB Rajaram, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration at Air Headquarters was the guest of honour for the occasion. The ANI reporter and cameramen also have alleged that following the verbal altercation, Vadra's security men also assaulted the crew in an attempt to get the footage deleted. In a statement Vadra later said that he wasn't aware that the reporter was from ANI and thought the question was asked by a private photographer.
