BJP lashes out at Congress's dual stand on Ordinance on convicted politicians

New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi lashed Congress's dual stand on the Ordinance on convicted politicians proposed by the UPA government after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi termed the Ordinance as 'nonsense and there after party's President Sonia Gandhi came up to praise PM Manmohan Singh for the historic bills. Naqvi said that Congress should rename itself as 'Indian Nautanki Congress' and that Rahul did whatever he did because he could sense that the ordinance has no future and therefore he took credit of opposing the same. 'Rape accused' Babulal Nagar cries conspiracy

Jaipur, Oct 01 (ANI): Rape accused former Rajasthan Minister Babulal Nagar, who has been suspended from the Congress Party said on Tuesday that his political opponents were trying to frame him to malign his reputation. 53-year-old Nagar said the party is supreme for him, and added that he would not like anybody to point fingers at his party following the allegations of rape levelled against him. New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): Former Rajasthan minister Babulal Nagar, who was accused of raping a woman, has been suspended from the Congress Party. The decision was taken by the AICC after the state Congress declined to act against him despite public outrage and grave charges levelled against him. Media reports suggest that Nagar had undergone medical tests, as part of the investigation into the case, after evading the probe for over one week.
