Indian fishermen released by Pakistan thank Modi for their homecoming

Amritsar, May 27 (ANI): Indian fishermen released by Pakistan arrived in Amritsar and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their homecoming. Pakistan freed Indian prisoners on May 25 as a goodwill gesture, a day ahead of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to New Delhi to attend Modi's oath-taking ceremony. Fifty-nine Indian prisoners, who were freed from Malir jail of Karachi, celebrated the joy of homecoming. A released fisherman, Pappu, thanked Modi for extending an olive to nuclear rival Pakistan, which ensured their release from jails. Narendra Modi takes charge as Prime Minister of India
