Key Indian Mujahideen terrorist arrested from Saharanpur

New Delhi, Sep 06 (ANI): A key terrorist of India Mujahideen, Ejaz Sheikh, was arrested by the Special Cell of Police in Saharanpur city of Uttar Pradesh. Special Commissioner of Special Cell, SN Srivastava said on Saturday that Sheikh was a key terrorist who used to provide logistics to other IM terrorists and was an expert in technology. He added that Sheikh was involved in German Bakery Blast, Jama Masjid blast and Varanasi blast as his key operations. Srivastava also said that Sheikh used to create forged documents and mail ids which were used by terrorists in seeking admissions, renting property and buying sim card other than sending threat mails. Flood water enters homes and buildings in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 06 (ANI): Incessant rain disrupted the life of the common man as flood water entered homes and buildings in Kashmir. Authorities declared a disaster alert in the northern region after two days of heavy rain hit villages across the Kashmir valley, causing the worst flooding in two decades. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, said that the floods have so far claimed nearly 100 people, as rivers in the region flow above danger mark due to incessant rains. During a rescue operation, rescuers recovered the bodies of at least 50 members of a wedding party aboard an ill fated bus that was washed away by flash floods. A local, Farooq Ahmad, told that the administration has not taken concrete steps to drain the flood water out of residential areas. Karimganj, Sep 06 (ANI): In another shameful crime against women, two school girls were found dead in Karimganj district in Assam. Two Assam school girls, who had been missing from their homes since Wednesday, were found hanging from a tree on Thursday in the state's Karimganj district, close to the Bangladesh border. The police suspect that the girls were raped and then murdered. According to the police, the bodies have been recovered and sent for a post-mortem. Only after the post-mortem and forensic reports, will the police be able determine the cause of death and if the girls had been molested.
