New Delhi, July 07 (ANI): Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu hit at senior Congress leader Kamal Nath's remark over Lok Sabha Speaker, as fight between the ruling BJP and Congress party for the post of Leader of Opposition deepens. Naidu said that the Speaker would decide whether to accord the Leader of Opposition status to the Congress party or not as per the rule book. Earlier on Saturday, Kamal Nath had questioned the neutrality of Speaker Sumitra Mahajan over giving the Leader of Opposition post to the party. Maharashtra doctors end strike after six days on CM's intervention

Mumbai, July 07 (ANI): Maharashtra Association of Gazetted Medical Officers (MAGMO) members, who were on a strike since July 1, called it off on Monday after the intervention of Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. Chavan stated that most of the demands of MAGMO had been accepted earlier and the government is positive on some of the issues raised by them. MAGMO president Rajesh Gaikwad said that the organization is withdrawing the agitation on the assurance of the Chief Minister. The strike had paralyzed the healthcare situation in the state.
