1st Cabinet Meet of new govt decides to form SIT on Black Money

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): The new government in its first Cabinet Meeting headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to form an SIT to hold investigation over black money. Telecom and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday briefed about the first decision which was raised often by the BJP during its campaign. Prasad said that the SIT will be headed by former judge of Supreme Court Justice MB Shah as the Chairman. Kejriwal agrees to furnish personal bond, his petition to be heard on 31st Jul

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday has agreed to furnish the personal bond as suggested by the Court in the hearing regarding Nitin Gadkari’s defamation case. Kejriwal’s lawyer Prashant Bhushan stated that the High Court has agreed to hear his petition on 31st July and in the mean time proposed him to furnish the bond and get released from jail. He also said that Kejriwal agreed to furnish the bond pending the final outcome of the case. Meanwhile, Gadkari’s lawyer Pinky Anand said that Kejriwal did not intend to stay in jail and had to furnish the bond as he had no choice. She added that the Court will hear his petition on July 31.
