Gurgoan, July 15 (ANI): Ved Pratap Vaidik, senior journalist also known as an aide of Yoga Guru Ramdev has been making desperate attempts to defend himself in the controversies he stirred by meeting 26/11-mastermind terrorist Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan. Vaidik dismissed the claims of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi that he is an RSS man. He added that the Congress is using him as a shield to attack the BJP. Vaidik further clarified that he met Hafiz Saeed in his personal capacity as a senior journalist. Shiv Sena workers in Jammu district shouted slogans against Vaidik and burnt his effigy. The protesters also demanded his arrest and alleged that he disrespected Indian sentiments.
