New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Wednesday broke down during her roadshow in Krishna Nagar constituency, from where she is contesting her first ever election. The former IPS officer was seen taking off her glasses and wiping tears with a handkerchief. Bedi said that she is overwhelmed by the affection she has received from people and promised to return their love by serving them. Krishna Nagar constituency is being seen as BJP's stronghold in the upcoming Delhi assembly poll. The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase on February 7. Heavy snowfall disrupts normal life in Kashmir

Ramban/ Shimla, Feb 04 (ANI): Heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir hit electricity, water and blocked national highway, disrupting normal life. Roads in Ramban area were filled with snow making it difficult for vehicles to ply due to which people had to walk long distances carrying their luggage. National Highway-44 was completely blocked, restricting transportation. State's capital city, Srinagar, on Sunday (February 01) had received season's first snowfall bringing cheers to residents. However, snowfall did not bring much delight to residents of Ramban district. As per local media reports, the weather department has predicted snowfall for next three days. The minimum temperature recorded was minus 0.2 degree Celsius. Reportedly, an avalanche warning has also been issued in higher reaches of the valley. Meanwhile, hill town of Shimla also received three to 90 centimeters of fresh snowfall. Minimum temperature recorded was two degree Celsius. New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Election Commission (EC) officials seized 397 cartons of liquor from a warehouse in west Delhi, days before the national capital goes to polls on February 07. Acting on a tip off, a team of EC officials raided the warehouse near residence of AAP leader Naresh Balyan in Uttam Nagar area and seized liquor. Police indicated towards possibility of Balyan's involvement. Balyan is AAP's candidate from Uttam Nagar.
