Politicos react even as ITBP submits reports on Chinese Incursion

New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): Politicos on Monday reacted over the Chinese incursions taking place in the Line of Actual Control area in Ladakh. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that the matter is escalating and requires a great deal of sagacity to end it. Congress leader Rashid Alvi and JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav said that the foreign policy of the NDA government is defective. CPI leader D Raja said that unless the border disputes between China and India are not resolved, there will always be a question mark on the mutual co-operation between the two countries. Politicos react as CBI questions Chidambaram's wife in Saradha scam case

New Delhi, Sept 22 (ANI): Politicos from rival parties of Congress stated on Monday that law should take its own course as former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram's wife, Nalini Chidamabaram, was examined over the weekend by the CBI in connection with the alleged multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam. According to sources, Saradha Chairman Sudipta Sen, at present in jail, had mentioned about hiring Nalini Chidambaram as a lawyer at the request of Manoranjana Sinh, the estranged wife of Congress leader Mantang Sinh. ISRO's Mars Mission faces crucial test today

New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): ISRO's Mars Obiter Mission will face a crucial test on Monday when the main liquid engine of the spacecraft which has been dormant for 10 months will be fired at around 2:30 pm for a very short duration of four seconds. Scientist CB Devgan explaining about this test said that if the engine works today, then probably it will work on 24th when it is fired for a longer duration into an orbit around mars. Navratri Festival empowers women in Gujarat

Vadodara /Surat, Sep 22 (ANI):'In a bid to empower women State government of Gujarat provided free stalls for sales of handmade items and goods at venues of Hindu festival of Navratri, the nine-day celebration honouring goddess Durga. District Magistrate of Vadodara city of Gujarat, Avantika Singh said the outlets are being provided to the women to sell their merchandise and earn their livelihood, and added that a similar exercise was conducted at the time of Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan. Villagers wait for relief and help in flood-hit Kashmir

Pulwama, Sep 22 (ANI): People waited for relief and help as dozens of houses have collapsed in a village that was devastated by the worst flooding seen in more than a century in Jammu and Kashmir. Both the Indian and Pakistani sides of the disputed Himalayan region have seen extensive flooding this month, with Srinagar particularly hard hit. Hundreds of people have been killed and tens of thousands are homeless. Authorities say the cost of damage in Jammu and Kashmir may run into crores of rupees. Elephants damage huts fields and fodder in Jharkhand

Lohardaga, Sep 22 (ANI): A herd of about sixteen elephants created havoc in a village of Lohardaga district in Jharkhand as they rampaged through huts and fields, forcing people to flee out of fright. A resident, Shadik Khan, said that the villagers, especially children are scared. The herd comes in the evening and people run out of their homes for their lives. The elephant menace is giving villagers sleepless nights, he added.
