New Delhi, Jan 18 (ANI): Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera met his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on Sunday. Samaraweera arrived in New Delhi on Saturday to hold bilateral talks Swaraj. MEA Spoekesperson Syed Akbaruddin's tweet confirmed that the Sri Lankan minister said the nation sees India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a huge opportunity. He had also said that the visit to India within 5 days of President's swearing-in shows the nation's priority, the tweet further said. Ahead of his visit, Sri Lanka released 15 Indian fishermen and now no Indian fishermen are in island nation's custody. The meeting between the two foreign ministers would be a first high-level discussion since new government was installed in Sri Lanka under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena.
