CCTV footage shows the murder of former parliamentarian Denis Voronenkov in Kiev. Voronenkov was shot dead by an unidentified assailant on 23 March. The shooter later died after being shot by Voronenkovs bodyguard.Voronenkov was a key witness in a treason case against Ukraines pro-Russia former president Viktor Yanukovych. Boris Johnson: Russia is up to all sorts of no good

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has been invited to Russia to speak with his counterpart, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in an attempt to resolve significant differences over conflicts in Syria and Ukraine. Speaking in Brussels on 6 March Johnson said he will confront Russia on a number of topics inlcuding the Ukraine and Russian cyber warfare. President Barack Obama said on Wednesday 19 December it is in the worlds interest for the United States and Russia to have a constructive relationship, but Russias return to an adversarial spirit under President Vladimir Putin made that difficult. I think that it is in Americas interest, in the worlds interest, that we have a constructive relationship with Russia, Obama said in a news conference on Wednesday (January 18) two days before handing over the presidency to Donald Trump.
