Bihar: Seven killed in Maoist landmine blast

Aurangabad/Patna, Oct 18 (ANI): At least seven people were killed when Maoists blew up a vehicle by triggering a landmine blast in the rebel-infested Aurangabad district of Bihar. Top brass of Bihar Police confirmed this tragic incident while speaking to reporters in Patna. He said senior police officers had rushed to the spot with additional forces to launch combing-cum-search operation to nab the ultras. Unnao, Oct 18 (ANI): The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on Friday began excavating the remains of former King Ram Bux Singh's dilapidated fort in Unnao district of UP to verify claims made by a seer that nearly 1,000 tonnes of gold is buried here. The work by ASI began days after local seer Shobhan Sarkar dreamt of the invaluable gold treasure hidden in those ruins. The residents of the area seemed confident of hidden treasure in the premises of fort as they stressed that whatever Sarkar has predicted till date is found to be true.
