SC orders states to submit affidavit in missing children case

New Delhi, Sep 24 (ANI): In the missing children case, the Supreme Court on Wednesday asked state governments to file affidavits till October 16 on whether they are complying to previous orders in the case. The court has also asked the states to mention the cause if they are not following the orders. The court has also sought response on questions like the total number of FIRs registered relating to missing children, designated police stations, total number of NGOs involved in the exercise, photos of recovered children and how many have been registered with the anti-human trafficking cell. New Delhi, Sep 24 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday cancelled all the coal block allocations which it had earlier declared illegal leaving 4 which entirely belong to the Central government. The lawyer said that Court has given its final decision regarding coal allocations where it has cancelled all the allocations except four. The court, which examined the allocation of 218 blocks in pre-auction era till 2010, had held that they were done in an illegal manner by an “ad-hoc and casual” approach “without application of mind”.
