New Delhi, Sep 28 (ANI): Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt on Sunday bagged historic gold and with this win India secured eighth position at the Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea. Dutt after beating Zalimkhan Yusupov of Tajikistan in men's 65kg freestyle added fourth gold in India's medal tally. Dutt's coach Satpal commenting on his historic win said that Dutt has given him the best gift and he is very proud to be Dutt's coach. RSS observes Dussehra festivities with worship of weapons, cadres' parade in Haryana

Gurgaon, Sep 28 (ANI): Cadres of the RSS, observed Dussehra festivities in Gurgaon city in Haryana, by performing the ancient Indian ritual of worshipping weapons (Shastra Puja) and holding a cadets' parade to show its preparedness to gain victory over evil, which is the symbol of the festival. On Sunday, RSS cadres attired in their khaki short pants, white shirts and black caps, performed drills holding sticks and also took part in a parade to mark the day. A cadet, Prabhat Sharma, said that more than 200 activists were present on this occasion of weapon worship in Gurgaon. Chennai, Sept 28 (ANI): A day after a special court in Bangalore convicted and sentenced J Jayalalithaa to four years imprisonment in a disproportionate assets case, O Panneerselvam was chosen to be Tamil Nadu's new chief minister. The decision was taken at a meeting of AIADMK MLAs at the party headquarters in Chennai on Sunday. Earlier, J Jayalalithaa had conveyed to senior party colleagues that her choice as the state's next CM is her close aide O Panneerselvam. Panneerselvam was also earlier elevated to the position of chief minister in 2001 when Jayalalithaa had to step down following her conviction in the Tansi land deal case; she was subsequently acquitted.
