Shah welcomed Bedi into his party and announced that she would contest the Delhi Assembly polls. Bedi, who was a prominent member of Team Anna, was formally inducted into the BJP in the presence of top leaders and ministers Arun Jaitley and Dr Harshvardhan. Mayawati demands CBI investigation over dead bodies in Ganges

Lucknow, Jan 15 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday demanded a CBI investigation over the incident of dead bodies being found in the River Ganges in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. She further stated that the Samajwadi Party had failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo also launched her book 'A Travelogue of My Struggle-ridden Life and BSP Movement' to mark her 55th Birthday. Over a hundred bodies were recovered from the river Ganges in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district, earlier on Wednesday. Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati had said she has sought a report from the District Magistrate of Unnao with regard to the incident. Jan 15, 2015

The issue of decline in CSR is complex and multi-dimensional and the scheme will address the issue within the broad framework of survival, protection and education of girl children. Meanwhile, Congress leader Manish Tewari and Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said that these campaigns are useless unless not practiced in day to day life. Lawyer in the case said that the dates for Delhi polls have been announced and that model code of conduct does not allow any political leader to indict allegations on personal affairs of his rival.
