Germany: Theatre production puts 71 people in truck to highlight plight of refugees

A German theatre staged a controversial protest work on 2 September, cramming 71 people into the back of a small truck to highlight the plight of refugees turning to people-smugglers. While Europe has been rocked by migrant deaths in the Mediterranean, last week the perils of the overland journey were hammered home when 71 people were found dead in an abandoned refrigerated lorry in Austria.
