At least six people were wounded when a gunman opened fire at a sports bar in New Jersey, USA, on 2 December. Comedian Toni Bryd was about five minutes into her stand up routine when bullets rang out into a room with about 30-40 people in it. Bryd wasnt injured and posted to social media that I was able to get on the floor and make it in the back room. Dec 7, 2016

Women dressed as bloodied and bandaged brides protested in front of the Lebanese government headquarters on 6 December. They were calling for the abolition of a law that allows rapists to marry their victims in order to escape sentencing, known as Article 522.
