Kiran Bedi has become BJP sympathizer: Prashant Bhushan after Kejriwal's resignation

New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): Reacting on Kiran Bedi's tweet after Arvind Kejriwal's resignation as Delhi chief minister, AAP leader Prashant Bhushan said that Bedi has become a BJP sympathizer and their spokesperson and that nothing can be expected of her. He also said that Bedi is supporting 'Jokepal' in the name of Lokpal Bill. Further, talking about the national capital government, Bhushan said that there are two options, that is, either Congress and BJP forms the government together or the assembly dissolves. He also said that there is no point of running the government when it can't function properly.

Politicos condemn Kejriwal's resignation, says AAP never intended to run govt

New Delhi, Feb 15 (ANI): Politicos on Saturday condemned Arvind Kejriwal's decision to resign as Delhi chief minister and said that AAP never intended to run the government and function. Independent MLA Rambir Shokeen said that the only good thing done by the government was Kejriwal's resignation. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said that AAP government has a habit to run away from responsibility and they don't believe in system and governance and that they never wanted to run the government. Following the suit, Delhi Congress President JP Aggarwal said that AAP government promised the people and thereafter ran away from the same.

Jimmy and Nushrat set to rattle nerves with 'Darr at The Mall'

Mumbai, Feb 15 (ANI): Bollywood actor, Jimmy Shergill, who made a mark with his acting prowess both in mainstream as well as off-beat cinema, promoted his upcoming horror film, 'Darr at The Mall', along with the lead actress of the film, Nushrat Bharucha, in Mumbai. The film is based on a mall which is haunted by evil spirits and revolves around Shergill who plays the role of a security guard at the mall. Meanwhile, Bharucha said she had an amazing experience while shooting the film. The trailer of the film reveals that nine people have been strangely murdered in the mall. Shergill is responsible of taking care of security arrangements of the mall for a special party being hosted in the premises. The film has been directed by Pawan Kirpalani and is slated for release on February 21.

Militancy under control in Kashmir so far, says officer

Srinagar, Feb 15 (ANI): Indian security forces have been able to control militancy so far in Jammu and Kashmir due to stepped up activities and vigil, said a senior CRPF officer. Inspector General of CRPF, Pankaj Kumar Singh however added that an intelligence report has indicated that militancy would increase in 2014. Singh said as a result of security measures, no major militancy related incidence has taken place in the state so far. Two militants were killed during a fierce gun battle with security forces in Shopian district on Thursday. The Kashmir region has witnessed numerous militant attacks, insurgency and infiltration attempts from across the border in the last two decades.
