Srinagar, Dec 05 (ANI): Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said lashed out at Narendra Modi and said that it is surprising that people who have no idea about the state is talking about the same. He said that Modi who said that Shias are not treated well enough in the state have no clue even about the month when the community celebrates and when they mourn. Further, he said that these people in high positions are different at the time when they have power than they are bereft of the same. Abdullah also said that he has always fought against AFSPA and will continue his fight even if he is not in power.

Fresh trial ordered in Salman hit-and-run case, definite relief for Khan, says petitioner

Mumbai, Dec 05 (ANI): After a Mumbai court on Thursday ordered a fresh trial in the Salman Khan hit-and-run case, petitioner in the case, Abha Singh said that this is a definite relief for Khan and that his lawyer will take full advantage of the same. The court has ordered that all evidence and witnesses be re-examined. The hearing in the case will begin from December 24. According to an earlier court order, the Bollywood actor be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which attracts ten years of imprisonment.

Singh, while inaugurating the 8th edition of 'India Telecom 2013', said that telecom sector has contributed significantly to country's economic growth and has created valuable employment opportunities.
