Cold wave grips northern India as temperatures dip further

New Delhi/ Shimla, Dec 24 (ANI): Cold wave gripped northern India as temperatures dipped further on Tuesday and dense smog enveloped the region, forcing many people to stay indoors. Regions in the foothills of Himalayas received fresh snowfall on Sunday, much to the delight of hundreds of tourists from the plains and the residents as well.
