Connecting terrorism with Muslims not correct: SP on Rahuls ISI remark

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Reacting on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s statement that Pakistani agency ISI is trying to lure Muzaffarnagar riot victims to terrorism, Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said that connecting Muslim community with terrorism is not right. Further, he said that if there is any fact in the statement, there will be investigation abut bringing the same in front of public is not right and that Samajwadi Party is against any differences between the two communities.

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday slammed Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for his ISI remark on Muzaffarnagar riots. BJP interpreted Gandhi's remarks that Pakistani agencies were approaching victims of Muzzafarnagar riots to lure them into terrorism as an attempt to cast doubts about the patriotism of Muslims.

Nature's miracle: Pakistan woman delivers five healthy babies

Peshawar, Oct 25 (ANI): Surprising the people with nature's yet another miracle, a supermom from northwestern Pakistan has given birth to five healthy quintuplet girls and boys in a Peshawar hospital, according to the hospital officials. The newborn include three girls and two boys. The woman, who gave birth to quintuplets, hails from Malakand, now a district under the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Giving birth to quintuplets can be dangerous and historically it has been rare that all five children survived.

Rahul's statement on Muzaffarnagar victims will harm Muslim community: Kamal Faruqui

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): A day after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi claimed that Pakistani agencies were trying to lure some victims of the Muzaffarnagar riots to terrorism, Former Secretary of Samajwadi Party Kamal Faruqui said that the statement will do nothing but will harm the Muslim community and their sentiments. Further, he said that there had been even worse attacks on the Muslim community but that never meant that the community will turn to terrorism or Pakistani outfits.

Bangladesh academician highlights ideological differences among political parties

Dhaka, Oct 25 (ANI): Bangladesh academician, Shafi Ahmed highlighted the conflict between the leading political parties of the country, as tensions mounted ahead of the general elections. Bangladesh has been rocked by protests and counter-protests since January, when a tribunal set up by the government to investigate abuses during a 1971 war of independence from Pakistan sentenced to death in absentia a leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami. UP: Girl set on fire after rape attempt by villager

Jalaun, Oct 25 (ANI): A teenage girl in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh died in hospital allegedly after being set on fire by a villager, who had attempted to rape her first. The incident took place at Nipniya village of Sirsa Kalan area in Jalaun district on Tuesday evening in the fields where she went to attend nature's call. Police, however, suspected the incident to be a case of suicide. The assistant superintendent of police in the region, Rakesh Shankar, said that the girl was believed to be in a relationship with the accused and committed suicide after being spotted with him by her brother.

Continuous Ceasefire violations instils fear in villagers

Samba, Oct 25 (ANI): Massive exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistan troops overnight across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir instilled fear in the minds of border villagers forcing thousands to abandon their homes. The villagers, already facing hardships due to continuous violations of ceasefire and shelling from Pakistan, were shaken after the incident. A mortar bomb fell at a house in Nanga village of Samba district, when the village was fast asleep in their 'safe abodes'. Consequently, thousands of them have abandoned their homes and is seeking refuge elsewhere at community shelters like schools.
