New Delhi, Feb 3 (ANI): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allowing some of its key leaders, including Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley, to topple its government in Delhi. Addressing a press conference here, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said Modi and Jaitley were trying to destablise the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government in the national capital.

Mass graves in Balochistan raise concerns about human rights violations

Karachi / Khuzdar, Feb 03: These female members of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) held a protest rally in Karachi to condemn the discovery of three mass graves in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on January 25. Human rights groups have expressed "shock and deep concern" over the recovery of over 150 bodies, believed to be the corpses of the missing Baloch, who were arrested and later unlawfully killed by Pakistani security agencies. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons has the details of 8,000 people who have disappeared over the past ten years, and haven't been seen since. The "pick, kill and dump" policy of Pakistan's intelligence agencies raises serious concerns about the violation of human rights in Balochistan.

Vegetable traders strike at Azadpur mandi

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Fruits and vegetable supplies in Delhi and its adjoining areas might get affected from Monday as traders in Azadpur went on a strike in protest against the change in pattern of collecting commission. Azadpur has around 3,800 commission agents, who plan to protest at mandi's gate and prevent work from happening. Speaking on the same Delhi Cabinet minister Girish Soni said that this is only a political stunt as some ministers are trying to create disturbance. He further said that a Committee should be formed.

Philip Seymour Hoffman dies at 46 from apparent drug overdose

New Delhi, Feb 3 (ANI): Academy award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead from an apparent drug overdose. The 46-year-old actor's body was reportedly discovered on Feb 02 by his personal assistant in the bathroom of his New York apartment with a needle in his arm after injecting heroin. Hoffman's family have issued a statement saying that they are devastated by the loss of the ' Capote' star and appreciate the outpouring of love and support they have received. They added that this is a tragic and sudden loss and they requested people to give them some privacy to grieve. Sources have revealed that the New York police department has opened a "DOA" ("Dead on arrival") investigation and is investigating a possible drug overdose.
