Congress on Sushma Swarajs tweet on Sriramalus induction

New Delhi, March 15 (ANI): Reacting on BJP leader Sushma Swaraj’s tweet over the induction of controversial Karnataka leader B. Sriramalu in the party, the Congress on Saturday said that the voice of the senior leaders in the party is being suppressed by Narendra Modi. The Congress leaders also stated that if Swaraj is sharing such problems on twitter out of worry, then she should reveal all the wrongdoings going on in the party.

Congress faces flak for naming 'Tainted' ministers in second LS list

New Delhi, March 15 (ANI): The Congress party on Saturday received criticism for naming two scam-tainted former ministers in its second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls. Former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal will contest from Chandigarh and former minister Subodh Kant Sahai will contest from Ranchi. Bansal had resigned in the wake of the railway recruitment scam and Sahay had resigned following the coal block allocation scam.

New Delhi, March 15 (ANI): Dismissing reports of differences within the BJP over the induction of controversial Karnataka leader B. Sriramalu in the party, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi claimed that the party is united. Expressing her angst against the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) decision to induct controversial Karnataka leader B. Sriramalu in the party, senior leader Sushma Swaraj took to twitter on Saturday saying the decision was taken despite her 'stiff opposition'. The BJP had re-inducted Sriramalu, who had left the party in 2011, and it is expected that he might be the party's Lok Sabha candidate from Bellary constituency in Karnataka.

Maoists kidnap workers in Bihar, set construction machine on fire

Jamui, March 15 (ANI): Maoists attacked a land mining site in Jamui district of Bihar on Friday, kidnapping around seven workers and setting two machines on fire. The rebels barged at the site as the sand picking work was on and created ruckus. Their demands are still unknown. Rana said that the investigation and search operations are on. Meanwhile, the work has been halted. The rebels have operated for decades across a wide swathe of central and eastern India.
