Rahul Gandhi visits Badaun, meets family of gang-rape victims

Badaun, May 31 (ANI): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday visited Badaun in Uttar Pradesh where the two sisters were gang-raped and murdered. Gandhi met the family members of the victims and said that he agreed with the family who pressed for a CBI probe and refused to take any compensation as it would not restore their girls' honour. He added that justice should be done to the innocent girls and their family so that a message is spread among the culprits who execute similar crimes that such offenses will not be spared in country. Gandhi was accompanied by AICC general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Madhusudan Mistry, state PCC chief Nirmal Khatri and chairman of AICC Scheduled Castes department K Raju.

Rao Inderjeet hits back at Congress, says CBI found nothing against him
