India responds to Pak_s remark on Kashmir, says language of bygone era doesn_t help

New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): In response to Pakistan_s comment that India_s Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory, Indian Foreign Ministry said that the language of bygone era has not helped or served anybody any purpose. Stressing that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said such remark was not in agreement with Indian PM Narendra Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif_s desire to normalise the relationship through dialogue. On the eve of Modi_s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam in Islamabad said they didn_t accept the so-called accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India and Kashmir was not an integral part of India. Shimray Asaiwo Bellrose and 17 others from Northeast clear civil services

Manipur, July 05 (ANI): 30-year-old Shimray Asaiwo Bellrose, a Tangkhul Naga who hails from Lunghar village in Manipur, is proud to have cleared the civil services examination, 2013, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. She has secured the 1106th position in the final list of the successful candidates. Bellrose has been staying in New Delhi since 2011 after completing her Msc in Botany from Manipur University. Bellrose is among the 18 candidates from the northeast who have cleared the civil services examination. Of the successful candidates, at least six are from Assam, four from Manipur, while two are from Meghalaya. Three candidates are from Mizoram and one each from Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Nagaland. Asaiwo believes that continuous disturbance by militant outfits in the northeast prevent the talented youngsters from achieving their potential. New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday reassured that as many as 116 Indians including 46 nurses from Kerala will reach India on Saturday morning. MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that an Air India aircraft has flown from New Delhi and is expected to reach Erbil, Iraq, late on Friday. Assuring that the government was putting in all efforts in ensuring the safety of Indian nationals, MEA said that a joint secretary level officer will co-ordinate with authorities in Iraq for the safety of Indians there. Even as process is underway to bring back as many as 116 Indians from the war-torn country, 39 Indian nationals continue to be held captive in Mosul. Tension, clashes in Moradabad after BJP leaders detained, politicos react

New Delhi/Lucknow, July 04 (ANI): Political leaders on Friday criticized the violence in Moradabad which broke out following clash between protesters and police. The protesters were protesting against the denial of holding a 'mahapanchayat' by the BJP leaders. Muzaffarnagar riot accused BJP MLA Sangeet Som was earlier detained near Moradabad along with several leaders and party workers for heading to Moradabad to hold a Mahapanchayat even as the local administration had denied them permission. According to reports the UP administration had denied permission to the BJP to hold a mahapanchayat fearing that it could flare up communal tension in the area. The BJP had decided to hold a mahapanchayat after the UP administration restricted the use of loud speakers at a religious place, which led to some trouble in the area in the month of June. In order to protest against the move, the BJP had called for a mahapanchayat today, where several party leaders were also expected to be present.
