Bangalore, July 19 (ANI): Parents in Bangalore took to streets on Saturday to protest against the recent rape of a six year old girl in a school. The protesters marched to the streets in a long queue and held banners reading anti rape slogans. Parents scared of sending their child to school demanded justice and strict punishment for the culprits as soon as possible. The parents, especially who have daughters expressed concern over the safety of their children and said that they are scared of sending their kids to school. Blaming the school management and entire staff for the minor rape they demanded severe punishment against the culprits. Jul 19, 2014

Chamba district shares nearly 200 kilometers border with Jammu and Kashmir and it is easy for the militants to infiltrate due to mountainous terrain. Tension erupted as two staff members allegedly raped a six-year-old girl on the premises of a prominent school. He added that no laxity in the case will be tolerated and the department was working systematically to arrest the accused. Parents assembled on the school premises and staged a protest, accusing the school authority of inaction. They alleged that school management was not addressing the issue with utmost urgency.
