New Delhi, Sept 8 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 293.15 points up to stand at 27,319.85. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 87.05 points up to stand at 8,173.90. TORRENT POWER LTD. and MRF were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 14.87% and 8.92% along with APOLLO TYRE and MAX with an increase of 8.32% and 7.10% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include J&KBANK and GLAXOSMITHKLINE CONSUMER HEALTHCARE LTD. with a decrease of 4.42% and 3.08% along with TTKPRESTIGE and SUN TV with a decrease of 2.65% and 2.38% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 138.39 points at 17,711.81 while the banking sector is up 252.29 points at 18,550.29 and the reality sector is up 13.60 points at 1,779.01. The Indian currency is down 0.17% at Rs 60.29 per dollar.
