Cross border trade in Kashmir going strong

Poonch, Dec 13 (ANI): Cross-border trade between Indian Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has picked up after recent flash floods damaged several bridges. The cross border trade at Chakan-da-Bagh was suspended in September due to the damage of the Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR) cause way bridge on the Line of Control (LoC).This is the only link which connects Poonch in Indian Kashmir with Rawalkot in PoK. Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed worst flooding in September in which hundreds were killed and marooned. The valley is still recuperating from the after effects. The cross-border trade between the two nations was resumed after almost three weeks in October. A trader, Aziz, expressed happiness over resumption of cross-border trade, adding apples from Pakistan are very popular among the Indians.

Black Money: SIT traces 4479 crore rupees abroad, Politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): Political parties on Saturday reacted after an SIT on black money traced 4479 crore rupees of black money in Swiss banks. BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi said that the government should gradually start the process of gaining information on people related to black money. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the PM is not working towards bringing back money to the country. SP leader Naresh Agarwal said that this issue is being raised since a long time and no solid results have come out. Politicos condemn death of Indian fisherman in Pak jail

New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday condemned the death of an Indian fisherman in Pakistan jail. The 30 year old Indian fisherman, Devo Mand Kansaro has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in a jail in Karachi. Kansaro was arrested in March by Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency for fishing in the Arabian sea. Jail authorities claimed that Kansaro had died from natural causes after complaining chest pain. Political leaders demanded stern action against Pakistan by the Indian government. However, they ruled out any relation of the incident with the Parliamentary dialogue of the MPs of both nations gone wrong on Friday.

Pro ISIS twitter account handler detained in Bengaluru, Politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday welcomed the detention of Pro ISIS twitter account handler in Bengaluru. Bengaluru police have detained the handler of the pro ISIS twitter handle at ShamiWitness on Friday night. However, the top police officials declined to confirm whether he was arrested and under which sections was a case made out against him. Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agrawal said that its good that the person in question is arrested but the intelligence agencies should remain more alert on such issues.
