New Delhi, Dec 6 (ANI): Supreme Court Judge Justice A R Dave on Saturday inaugurated the second National Lok Adalat, which will also take place in Supreme Court. Speaking at the occasion, Dave said that Lok Adalats are inexpensive and expeditious and creates a win-win situation for the contesting parties. He added that for the success of Lok Adalats, the contesting parties should not only have a large heart but must also suppress their egos. Coimbatore, Dec 6 (ANI): The outbreak of bird flu in neighbouring Kerala caused a setback to the poultry industry of Tamil Nadu. Thousands of dead ducks infected by a highly contagious bird flu virus were found in Kerala, prompting the authorities to cull more than 200,000 birds. Kerala had banned the movement of the chickens from Tamil Nadu due to bird flu threat. President of Broiler Chicken Traders Association of Coimbatore, Kandaswamy said that their chicken stock has accumulated. Korba, Dec 06 (ANI): At least 29 children were hospitalized in Chhattisgarh after they fell ill on consuming mid-day meals at school. The students reported dizziness and vomiting after consuming mid day meal at school in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. District Magistrate Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that condition of all the students is stable. She added that the matter will be investigated by the SDM. Meanwhile students said that the food smelled of alcohol.
