Politicos react while AAP- Congress allege BJP bringing outsiders for Modi's mega rally

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday react while Aam Aadmi Party and Congress alleged that BJP is bringing people from outside Delhi for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Abhinandan Rally". Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay said that there AAP's allegations are irrelevant and that they should themselves come to witness th crowd at the rally. BJP's GVL Narasimha Rao said that the prime minister is possibly the only leader in Indian history to have pulled crowds of a lakh and even more people. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi supported the allegations. NCP leader Majid Memon said that the prime minister should not use public money in rallies for any political party. AAP's Manish Sisodia said that people of Delhi will be waiting to see what issues PM Modi will address in the rally. The researchers said that the brain scans have previously shown that similar nervous systems link sweet taste and feelings of love and the recent study reveals that sweet taste and feelings of love share a similar part of the brain. The study suggests that sweet food taste increases dopamine levels, a key biological substrate of passionate love, and although dopamine is involved in many experiences, it may be part of the link between taste and romantic interest. New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Saturday after more than 40 sterilization surgeries were conducted under torchlight in Jharkhand's Chatra district. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that health is a major issue in the country which needs to be solved at the earliest. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Health Ministry should take quick steps to curb such problems of sterilization. France attacks prompted by insults to prophets, says purported Al-Qaeda leader

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): An audio recording posted on the Internet attributed to a leader of the Yemeni branch of Al-Qaeda (AQAP) said the attacks in France were prompted by insults to prophets but stopped short of claiming responsibility for the assault on the offices of French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. The authenticity of the audio could not immediately be verified. The voice in recording was purported to be that of Sheikh Hareth al-Nadhari. A Yemeni journalist who specialises in al Qaeda said it was clear that AQAP had provided a "spiritual inspiration" for the attack on the newspaper offices, but there was no clear sign that it was directly responsible for the assault. Security arrangements and traffic management in place ahead of PM Modi's 'Abhinandan Rally'

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Security was tightened around the Ramlila Ground on Saturday in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally at the venue in the national capital. The Delhi Traffic Police have also made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth movement of traffic. Modi is to address "Abhinandan Rally" which will be attended by around 1 lakh people. PM will formally kick off BJP's campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls on Saturday at the mega rally. Top leaders including BJP president Amit Shah, Union ministers Arun Jaitely, M Venkaiah Naidu and Piyush Goyal will attend the rally. Besides, chief ministers of Haryana, Jharkhand and Maharashtra will share the dais with the prime minister. The traffic police has advised commuters going to New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT to start early with sufficient time in hand for absorbing possible delays in the routes. New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Indian journalists and cartoonists protested and expressed solidarity with victims of attack on a Paris-based media house by drawing their creations and lighting candles in New Delhi. Hooded gunmen stormed the French satirical weekly, Charlie Hebdo offices, known for lampooning radical Islam, killing at least 12 people, including co-founder Jean "Cabu" Cabut and editor-in-chief Stephane "Charb" Charbonnier. France national leaders and allied states described the assault on Charlie Hebdo, known for its lampooning of Islam and other religions as well as politicians, as an assault on democracy. First phase of 'Bishwa Ijtema' begins in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Jan 10 (ANI): Thousands of Muslim devotees gathered on the bank of River Turag near Dhaka city for the first phase of this year's world congregation, or Bishwa Ijtema. Despite Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led 20-party alliance's countrywide blockade, devout Muslims across the globe assembled in Tongi, 20 kilometres off the capital city of Dhaka, to participate in the congregation, known as the second largest annual gathering of Muslims after the Hajj. The first phase of Ijtema will conclude on Sunday amid the final prayers 'Akheri Munajat' while the second phase will be held from January 16 to 18. Eight floating bridges have been placed by the army engineers so that devotees can cross the River Turag with ease. Wagah, Jan 10 (ANI): The decision of Pakistan to restrict the run of a bus service at Wagah border following an intelligence alert that militants may target the bus has angered passengers. Passengers travelling from Pakistan said they were severely inconvenienced as it involves more time. Early this week, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation decided to restrict the entry of buses running under the Pakistan-India friendship service from Lahore to Delhi till Wagah border due to militant threats. Seven militants arrested in connection with attacks in Assam

Kokrajhar, Jan 10 (ANI): In a joint operation, police and army arrested seven militants and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions in connection with attacks in Assam , which killed at least 80 people. Police believe that a faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), fighting for a separate state for ethnic Bodos, was behind coordinated attacks on tea plantation workers and their families in Assam. Sub-divisional police officer, Kokrajhar district, Ankur Jain said that seven militants were arrested of (NDFB).
