The exit poll results for the 2017 UP Assembly elections were out on March 9. All surveys predicted the BJP to emerge as the largest party while surveys by India Today-Axis My India and Today's Chanakya predicted a massive majority for Modi's party with 251-279 and 285 seats, respectively.
