To combat data breaches, India considering mandatory local storage

Headed by former Supreme Court judge B.N. Srikrishna, a government panel has submitted its recommendations to the parliament to be tabled soon. The report says all critical personal data on people in India should be processed within the country, so as to prevent data breaches.
