Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni who has not had his debut movie launched is already on a high. Akhil soon to be Actor has been signing advertising endorsements one after another. After Titan ad with Kalki Koechlin and now for Mountain Dew. Akhil recently shot for an adventurous ad in the Himalayas & the video is out now. Mountain dew is famous for rich commercials with death defying stunts and this one also not an exception. The excited actor had tweeted, "I've had a fear of heights from the time I was a child. So when Mountain Dew asked me to climb up a mountain, it was my worst fear come true. Fear comes naturally, but I wasn’t letting fear stop me this time!" Dec 12, 2014

In Lingaa Rajinikanth shines throughout the movie and carries the entire film on his shoulders. His performance as a responsible king as well as a civil engineer is filled with his unique element of style and delivery. Apart from Rajnikanth, Anushka has done a decent job in her role as TV reporter and the other leading lady Sonakshi Sinha, impresses the audience with her expressions. Santhanam is good as always with his witty one-liners and his combination with Rajinikanth has worked wonders. But it is a dissapointment with the roles of Jagapati Babu and others, that are not executed well and performance seems average. Dec 12, 2014
