England fast bowler James Anderson will not play in the final Ashes test against Australia at The Oval due to a side strain, captain Alastair Cook said on 19 August. Ashes 2015: Australia batsman Chris Rogers announces test retirement

Australian opening batsman Chris Rogers confirmed on 18 August, that he will retire from test cricket at the end of the current Ashes series in England.
