Hundreds run for women safety in Bhopal

Bhopal, Jan 12 (ANI): Hundreds of people in Bhopal took part in a marathon to spread awareness on women safety. The run was organised by a voluntary women organisation. Volunteers said that they aimed at motivating women, who are often caged within the confines of their houses, to raise their voices against the violence inflicted upon them, even by their close relatives. The organisers said that their intention was to instil an unflinching determination in the women living in Bhopal by setting an exemplary show of their activities. Jan 12, 2014
