Last week Goyal urged power companies to raise thermal coal imports after saying that 26 out of 100 coal-based power plants in India had "super critical" stocks. New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 11.44 points up to stand at 25,561.16. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 16.05 points up to stand at 7,640.45. Crompton Greaves and TTK Prestige were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 13.45% and 9.11% along with CRISIL and JPINFRATEC with an increase of 7.32% and 6.92% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Mahindra and Mahindra and Cadila Health with a decrease of 3.18% and 2.67% along with Prestige Estates and Bajaj Auto with a decrease of 2.53% and 2.27% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 25.24 points at 15,716.27 while the banking sector is down 2.42 points at 17,477.50 and the realty sector is down 15.60 points at 1,998.91.
