New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Politicos from rival parties on Sunday raised doubts on the claims made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D. Raja questioned the economic policies of the Modi-led government at the Centre and called for economic development with social justice. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man with a fortune estimated at $19.7 billion, praised Modi's leadership. Ambani said his Reliance Industries conglomerate would invest 1 trillion rupees ($16 billion) in Gujarat over the next 12 to 18 months. The 'adopt-a-village' scheme aims to provide rural India with access to basic amenities and opportunities. On Sunday, while adopting Karnali village in Vadodara city, Jaitley interacted with the villagers and offered his prayers at village's ancient 'Kuber Bhandari' temple, which is visited by large number of devotees everyday.
