BJP sends relief materials to flood ravaged JandK

New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): Delhi BJP on Sunday flagged off a truck loaded with relief materials for the people stuck in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay flagged off the truck and said that the party is even ready to send their workers to the flood affected state for help in rescue operations. Meanwhile, many Kerala tourists stranded in the flood hit state of Jammu and Kashmir arrived at Delhi airport on Sunday and thanked the authorities for the help provided. Relatives were seen relieved to see their acquaintances as they returned safely from the valley. Air Traffic Control works round the clock to monitor rescue ops in flood hit Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 14 (ANI): Air Traffic Control undauntingly took up the challenge of monitoring aircrafts and choppers making numerous sorties throughout the day to rescue the victims of devastating floods that disrupted normal life in Kashmir. Air Commodore B Balachandran, said on Sunday that the enhanced number of operations demands involvement of more controllers which keep them on their toes all the time. He added that it is a continuous flow and that is how the personnel can maximise the effort, he added. New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy commenting on the separatist pelting stones at rescue officers said that the best option for Jammu and Kashmir would be to go under presidential rule for at least a year and then have fresh elections. Slamming Swamy for his comment, NPP Chief Bhim Singh said that there is no provision for presidential rule in state and that his statement stinks of old BJP power games.
