New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday alleged that there is a nexus between Delhi BJP Chief Satish Upadhyay and power companies. Kejriwal said that Upadhyay should explain his relationship with the Delhi power discoms and demanded the BJP leader to come clean on their ties with power suppliers in the national capital. Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal said that BJP's Delhi unit Chief Satish Upadhyay owns companies which installed and replaced electricity meters in Delhi and that is the reason why the meters run so fast leading to rise in power bills for the residents. He also questioned BJP on why did the p arty obstruct audit of electricity companies ordered by AAP during its governance in Delhi. The voting for Delhi assembly polls will take place on February 7. Agartala, Jan 14 (ANI): Trade Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with her Bangladeshi counterpart Tofaile Ahmed inaugurated third border market or 'haat' along the border in Tripura to boost trade between the two countries. The market is set up within five kilometres radius at the border, which will enhance local trade and people-to-people contact. Sitharaman said that the market would build better relations and benefit small purchasers. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in October 2010 on Border Haats and Border Trade along the India-Bangladesh border. Meanwhile, Ahmed said he was grateful to Indian government for awarding duty free, quota free market access in almost all the items except two-alcohol and tobacco. New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): A church in west Delhi's Vikaspuri area was vandalised by unknown miscreants early on Wednesday morning, officials said. The incident came to light when officials of Our Lady of Graces church noticed broken shards of glass and statues inside the premises and informed the police. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the church and the footage show two men approaching the church at 4:19 AM. New Delhi/ Lucknow, Jan 14 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday react as over 100 bodies were found floating over River Ganges in Uttar Pradesh. More than 100 decaying dead bodies surfaced in the river Ganga near Pariyar between Kanpur and Unnao. The administration, which indicted these were reportedly bodies that are immersed in the river in the hope of salvation, was caught by surprise by the high number. The administration has however ordered an investigation in the case. Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti said that the ministry will act after looking at the report in the matter. SP leader Naresh Agarwal said that the Hindu ritual of giving away the bodies in the river for salvation may be the cause.
