Uma Bharti seeks report on unidentified bodies in River Ganges

New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti on Wednesday said the ministry will probe the matter of unidentified bodies found around a bank of the River Ganges. Nearly 50 bodies were found in revered River Ganges in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Dogs, crows and vultures dug into bodies as they had reached the bank due to low water level, posing major environment challenges in the areas under Unnao district. New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party councillor Neeraj Gupta on Wednesday denied that he had slapped a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) junior engineer, adding that he had been pushed in the crowd. A video clip earlier in the day, showed Gupta, who is the councillor for Ward 188, slapping the junior engineer, surrounded by people, in Sangam Vihar East area in south Delhi where he had gone to stop an unauthorized construction.
