Shashi Tharoor removed as Congress spokesperson

New Delhi, Oct 13 (ANI): Congress Leader Shashi Tharoor was on Monday removed from the post of spokesperson of the party. The decision came after Congress President Sonia Gandhi accepted the recommendation of AICC disciplinary committee to remove Tharoor from the list of spokespersons. Accepting the decision of the party, Tharoor said that he accepted the decision taken by the leadership as a loyal party worker. Baloch remembers missing persons on Eid Al-Adha, seeks justice

The demonstration by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons was against the enforced disappearances and killing of Baloch political activists by Pakistani forces. The incidents of enforce disappearances and extra-judicial killings of Baloch people continue to remain rampant in Balochistan. According to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, some 20,000 Baloch have gone missing since 2001. It alleges that over 4,000 Baloch activists are murdered in custody or target killed by the army.
