Kanpur/ Chennai, Feb 14 (ANI): Right-wing Hindu group, Bajrang Dal, in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday harassed and beat up couples spending time together in public places on Valentine's Day, deeming the occasion as vulgar. Bajrang Dal workers in Kanpur snaked through streets on motorcycles, waving flags and shouting anti-Valentine slogans, and stormed public places to catch unguarded couples. He added that young couples should refrain from looking at Bollywood movies and actors as their inspiration. Meanwhile, in a unique ceremony in Chennai, stray dogs were married off as an opposition to Valentine's Day. Around 35 members of a regional Hindu Munnani group carried out a procession in streets, garlanded and smearing dogs' heads with colour.
