Agartala, Feb 14 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh visited border areas of Tripura on Saturday to review the progress of fencing work. India is fencing its border with Bangladesh. India and Bangladesh share a 4,096 kilometre long border, largely porous. India says militants, active in the northeastern region, often cross over to Bangladesh after committing crimes. Accompanied by junior minister Kiren Rijiju, Singh also interacted with security personnel of India’s paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) and army officials.
