Fire engulfs coach of election special train near Allahabad

Allahabad, Oct 18 (ANI): A coach of an election special train returning from Maharashtra to Assam carrying election duty army and security officials caught fire near Allahabad. The bogie was separated from the engine and later the fire was put off. District Magistrate of Allahabad, VK Tiwari said that the fire was controlled by fire officials and ambulances are also called in to tackle the situation. Gurgaon, Oct 18 (ANI): After the assault of three Nagaland youths in Gurgaon, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Saturday said that India is a democratic nation and that Indian society must not be intolerant. He said that hate crimes will not be tolerated and that government is Indian is working in all directions to ensure safety for northeastern people. Rijiju also said that the government has agreed to set up dedicated helpline and police force for the people from north east. Rijiju visited Gurgaon today to take stock of situation and met senior police officials of the area. A high-level meeting will be held on the issue which will discuss steps required to prevent such future instances.
