New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): After Home Ministry’s statement that no terrorist was ever born in Gujarat even after they faced extreme atrocities following Rahul Gandhi’s ISI remark, JD (U) leader Sabir Ali said that Gujarat CM Narendra Modi sent his envoy with proper strategies in order to instigate Muzaffarnagar violence. He said that Modi and BJP plans and makes strategies before bringing their plan into action. Further, he said that Modi has no religion and he considers the voters as his customers.

Babulal Nagar claims innocence, denies charges of rape

Jaipur, Oct 26 (ANI): Former Rajasthan Minister Babulal Nagar, who has been arrested by the CBI, denied the charges of rape levelled against him by a 35-year-old woman. The CBI arrested Nagar on Friday on charges of raping and assaulting the woman. Earlier on October 9, the investigating agency took over the probe from Rajasthan Police, which had registered the case against Nagar.

Maharashtra government involved in sugar scam: Medha Patkar

Pune, Oct 26 (ANI): Social activist, Medha Patkar has blamed the Maharashtra government for the poor condition of co-operative sugar factories saying it was involved in multi-billion sugar scam. Patkar alleged that a multi-billion scam has taken place in the co-operative sugar industry through the sale of 40 co-operative sugar factories to private firms in the state. Speaking to mediapersons, Patkar said that the politicians who are running the co-operative sugar factories first ensured that the factories turned 'sick' and later sold them to private firms run by their own men for a meagre amount. Patkar said the co-operative sector should survive and thrive in Maharashtra, as it has played an important role in the development of the state. Patkar said a high-level judicial probe should to be conducted.
