Rahul Gandhi lowered dignity of PM, says Modi indirectly

Chhattarpur, Nov 18 (ANI): BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, on Monday indirectly accused Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi of lowering dignity of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Modi said Rahul conspired to publicly humiliate Singh over an ordinance on convicted lawmakers. He also hit out at Rahul for calling BJP leaders thieves at a public rally. Modi also questioned media's partisan reactions.

AB Vajpayee deserves Bharat Ratna: Farooq Abdullah

Bangalore, Nov 18 (ANI): New and Renewable Energy minister Farooq Abdullah has strongly backed the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) demand for Bharat Ratna to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, saying he deserved the honour. Centre would provide adequate safeguards to Seemandhra people: Jaipal Reddy after GoM meet

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): After three union ministers from Telangana, S Jaipal Reddy, Porika Balram Naik and Sarve Satyanarayana met the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Monday, they urged the central government to go ahead with the creation of Telangana and make Hyderabad its unconditional capital. Jaipal Reddy said that the ministers want the Government of India not to impose too many limitations on the inherent constitutional rights of the new Telangana state, and that it would provide adequate safeguards to Seemandhra people.

SP trying to divert the attention from nation's security: Balbir Punj

Chhattisgarh police alert on security during polls: DGP

Raipur, Nov 18 (ANI): As the polls are on its way in Chhattisgarha midst threat from Naxal forces in the region, state DGP Ram Niwas said that the police forces are active on the same and have averted many attacks by the Naxal forces. He said that it is because of the due alertness of the police department in the state that the polls are carried on peacefully. He remained hopeful about the peaceful election in coming days too.

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): Talking about the moving out of crowd in Rahul Gandhi's rally in Delhi, BJP leader Nitin Gadkari said that the act shows that people are done away with Congress and their corruption.
