Bangalore, Nov 18 (ANI): New and Renewable Energy minister Farooq Abdullah has strongly backed the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) demand for Bharat Ratna to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, saying he deserved the honour. Abdullah said that he would make a "personal request" for bestowing the honour on Vajpayee.
