Kejriwal holds Roadshow in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, March 24 (ANI): The Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal held a roadshow in Gurgaon takes a jibe at main opposition and ruling Congress for being controlled by Billionaire Mukesh Ambani. Kejriwal slammed Congress as well as BJP saying that Ambani influences the results of general elections. Kejriwal has been alleging Congress party and BJP for uniting against the anti-graft bill after he had ordered a probe into Mukesh Ambani, as well as policymakers over gas pricing. Kejriwal, further, accused Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, for acting as a middle man between corporate houses and Robert Vadara.

Narendra Modi endorses Ramdev s agenda on black money

New Delhi, March 24 (ANI): BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi endorsed yoga Guru Baba Ramdev's agenda of bringing back billions of black money stashed in off-shore banks and corruption free governance. Modi indirectly took a dig at the Congress-led government who had not paid heed to his demands. Ramdev, urged his supporters to garner votes for Modi.

Pakistan day celebrated across nation

Pakistan, March 24 (ANI): Pakistanis celebrated Pakistan day to mark the passage of the historic Lahore Resolution that led to the creation of a separate homeland for the South Asian Muslims in 1947. The Lahore Resolution, also known as Pakistan Resolution, was approved on March 23, 1940 in a meeting chaired by Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. The day began with 31 gun-salute in the capital city Islamabad, and 21-gun salutes in all the four provincial capitals. Wreaths were laid at Jinnah’s grave by representatives of Pakistan army, Navy and Air Force.

Villagers kill 3 in witch-hunting in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, March 24 (ANI): In yet another case of suspected witch hunting in Kokrajhar district of Assam, villagers killed three persons of a family and dumped their bodies at Borjhora village in Monglajhora area. The deceased have been identified as Rajendra Brahma (70), his wife Bangali Brahma (61) and unmarried daughter. Police said that 11 suspects were arrested in connection of the case. Accodring to some villagers, the elderly couple Rajendra Brahma, (70), his wife Bangali Brahma (61) were suspected of practising black magic and accused them for the death a villager few days back.

My supporters want me to quit BJP: Jaswant Singh

Bihar: Politicians express concern over security ahead of polls

Gaya, March 24 (ANI): The hotbed Maoist area in Bihar faces Maoist threat before the upcoming elections in the area, while politicians expressed their concerns about the security of the area during the polls.
