New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Politicos on Saturday demanded thorough probe after a suspected Islamic State militant was detained from Mumbai airport, adding the BJP-led government should not be witch hunting. NCP leader Majid Memon said that such persons who return home should not be treated in a harsh way like the NIA did. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that religious politics practiced by the BJP gave fodder to youths to join extremist organisations. Army Chief urges new cadets to gear up for national challenges

Pune, Nov 29 (ANI): Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag, on Saturday (November 29), urged new cadets to gear up for the national crisis and challenges, while addressing passing out parade in Pune. The cadets rejoiced as they successfully passed out from premier training institute National Defence Academy (NDA). Among those present were the parents and guardians of cadets as well as top brass of defence and other dignitaries stationed at various units based in and around Pune. The NDA trains cadets of all the three defence services- Army, Navy and Air Force- prior to their pre-commissioning training at their respective academies. Around 100 affected in Maharashtra after inhaling toxic gas

Ulhasnagar, Nov 29 (ANI): Around 100 people were affected in Ulhasnagar on Saturday after inhaling toxic gas formed due to the release of a chemical component in a nearby river. The people living in areas near the river complained of uneasiness and breathing problems and were rushed to different hospitals. Central Hospital Dean Dr Ashok Nadpurkar said that more than 80 people have come for treatment so far but only nine have been admitted. The incident occurred after a tanker carrying waste chemical components dumped its contents in the Ulhas River. Police are investigating the case as to whose carelessness led to the incident. Their first tour will take place in late December, when the team heads to Bangladesh. The training camp was hosted by the International Wheelchair Cricket Association (IWCA) at Karachi Gymkhana. Doda, Nov 29 (ANI): Security forces recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday (November 29). The security forces busted a militant hideout from where an AK-47 rifle, 12 bore guns, grenades and ammunitions were recovered. Last week also Indian army had recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in Kupwara and Baramulla districts of the state before the assembly elections began.
