Sanjay Dutt gets 14 day parole extension

New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was out on parole due to medical reasons, was granted a 14-day extension of his leave of furlough, according to jail authorities. Dutt sough an extension in the furlough on medical grounds. The 53-year-old actor was was sentenced for five years jail, after his conviction for illegal possession of arms in the Mumbai blasts case and is to serve the remaining 42 months of his sentence. The actor’s parole period was to end on Monday, but he made an application for another fortnight’s extension last week. Oct 15, 2013
